Hydrogen Fuel-Cell Electric Vehicles (HFCEV)

A Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (HFCEV) is an automobile powered by Hydrogen rather than fossil fuel. HFCEV are very similar to Electric Vehicles in that they run on electricity, but unlike EVs, HFCEV do not plug into the wall to get their charge; HFCEVs have a fuel cell stack that converts Hydrogen into electricity. The fantastic thing about cars powered by Hydrogen fuel cells is that they produce zero-emissions, only leaving behind water vapor as a byproduct—HFCEVs the 'cleanest' vehicles on the market, allowing their owners the satisfaction of knowing they are making a difference by positively impacting the environment. HFCEVs fuel up like a typical fossil fuel vehicle, usually in five minutes or less, unlike EVs that can take overnight to charge. HFCEVs, like other zero-emission vehicles, comes with many benefits to their owners, like HOV access in carpool lanes when driving alone and federal tax credits for owning an HFCEV. With companies like Toyota and Shell, who are making 200 hydrogen gas stations in California, Hydrogen is becoming more readily available.
